Hey HOBY -You’ve probably noticed that we’ve changed our look and we hope you like it! This fall edition of the HOBY Herald is short and sweet, but we wanted to take a few minutes to check and say hi.
The Holiday Season is here and we know that things can get a little crazy, but we want to emphasize theimportance of taking the time to be thankful.
Here are a few things we are thankful for:
We are currently first in the nation in terms of percentage of our recruitment goal for the 2013 seminar! Have YOU talked to your guidance counselor to make sure they have registered an ambassador yet? The guaranteed acceptance deadline is 11/30! Let’s see if we can be the first in the nation to reach our recruitment goal! OUTSTANDING job to our Director of Recruitment – Liz Parker!
The 2013 Vermont HOBY Seminar will be held at Vermont Technical College. We can’t wait to have another OUTSTANDING seminar at VTC!
We have two days reserved at Barnes & Noble in South Burlington to volunteer wrapping presents for donations to VT HOBY. This is a great way to connect with other VT HOBY Alumni and spread the word about what we do! See the sidebar for more information.
What are you thankful for? Let us know!
